In January 2009, Tecumseh went out of business and were partially bought out by the 2 companies below. The Transaxle Division was bought out by Husqvarna Outdoor Products. http://www.tecumsehpower.com/news/Peerless_External_Announcement.pdf Tecumseh also sold certain other assets to Certified Parts Corporation (CPC) http://www.tecumsehpower.com/news/CPC_External_Announcement.pdf It has been very difficult to keep up with Tecumseh stock and it may be a long cold winter for owners of snowblowers trying to get Tecumseh SnowKing engines or Tecumseh small engine parts. We will do our best to provide part numbers on look up requests & to check stock, but it is possible that parts may be difficult or even impossible to get. We will offer aftermarket parts as a substitute, when available. It may not always be easy to find an engine, from another manufacturer that will work in the Tecumseh's place. If we can not find a suitable replacement we may direct you to others that might be able to help. We can not guarantee that they will be able to. We may not always answer questions quickly when trying to find parts.
