NOTE: BEFORE REPLACING THIS STARTER YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUR VALVE SETTINGS. COMMON STARTER FAILURE ON THESE ENGINES IS OFTEN CAUSED BY A BAD COMPRESSION RELEASE ON THE CAMSHAFT. IF YOUR COMPRESSION RELEASE IS BAD IT WILL BURN OUT THE STARTER. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON BURNED OUT STARTERS.
